You may have noticed
some machinery any light construction on the course lately. We are working on some course
beautification and have planted a few hundred plants around the clubhouse and finishing holes here at Angeles
National. The bright red
Bougainvillea recently planted is very drought
tolerant and will give us plenty of color in the spring and summer months, a
great contrast against the natural surroundings.
We have also added
some Lantana to our main planter bed that separates number 1 and 10 tees. This
plant is also very drought tolerant and will give us plenty of yellow and
orange color through the spring and summer months.
Additionally, we have re-grassed
several areas through the fairway, around the bunkers, and select tees to
improve the playing experience.
